Whole Foods Market IP. L.P. is seeking a Bakery Decorator to create and decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special orders.

You will use artistic skills to finish products that meet our quality standards and help drive exceptional customer experiences in a fast-paced bakery environment. You will support apprentices and teammates, follow food safety standards, and participate in opening/closing duties while ensuring accurate signage and pricing.

Qualifications

• Proven cake/pastry decorating skills with attention to detail.
• Ability to follow recipes and standard procedures.
• Strong communication and teamwork to support bakery staff.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, fill, and finish/decorate cakes, tarts, pastries, and special-order items.
• Build, ice, and decorate cakes following standard procedures to meet demand and maintain records.
• Prioritize production lists and adjust as needed to optimize output.
• Merchandise and display products; ensure freshness and proper rotation.
• Support Bakery Decorator Apprentices and other team members.
• Create special order cake designs based on customer preferences.
• Provide excellent customer service and handle inquiries promptly.
• Maintain clean, sanitary work and display areas per safety standards.
• Perform opening, mid, and closing duties with accurate signage and pricing.
