Job summary

Faena Hotels & Residences in Miami Beach seeks a dedicated Line Cook to plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in the designated outlets. You will direct, train and monitor Line Cooks, maintain cleanliness and sanitation, and follow health regulations.

This role supports the Sous Chef, coordinates with staff, and ensures proper storage, waste reduction, and adherence to recipes and yields throughout the shift to deliver

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of departmental policies and standards.
• Ensure clean, sanitary work areas and equipment.
• Follow health regulations and resort requirements.
• Meet with Sous Chef to review assignments and business levels.
• Coordinate breaks and staff scheduling.
• Set up work stations with mis en place and tools.
• Prepare and portion menu items following recipes.
• Inform Sous Chef of shortages and replenishments.
• Direct and assist staff to ensure optimum service to guests and residents.
• Maintain production charts and proper storage procedures.
• Minimize waste and monitor food costs.
