Job summary

FAENA Movement in Miami Beach seeks a skilled Line Cook to plan, prep, set up and provide quality service in all areas of food production for menu items and specials in designated outlets, while directing, training and monitoring Line Cooks and maintaining cleanliness and sanitation of work areas and equipment.

The role requires coordination with the Sous Chef to review assignments, ensure timely line startup, and uphold Health Department standards.

Responsibilities

• Maintain knowledge of and comply with all departmental policies and standards.
• Inspect the cleanliness and working condition of all tools and equipment.
• Set up work station with required mis en place, tools, equipment and supplies.
• Prepare all menu items following recipes and yield guides.
• Inform the Sous Chef of any shortages before the item runs out.
• Maintain production charts and proper storage procedures.
