Job summary

Morongo Casino Resort & Spa is seeking a Baker to prepare a variety of breads, pastries, cakes and pies according to recipes and schedules. You will work in a fast-paced, high-volume kitchen with strict sanitation and food safety standards.

The role requires 2–3 years of professional baking experience, a high school diploma, and a food handler certification (or willingness to obtain). Casino/resort kitchen experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Completion of a baking or pastry arts program is preferred.
• Food Handler Certification required or must be obtained upon hire.
• Minimum of 2–3 years of professional baking experience in a commercial kitchen or bakery.
• Experience with casino, resort, or large-scale production kitchen preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare baked goods such as breads, pastries, pies, and cakes according to recipes and production standards.
• Measure, mix, portion, and arrange ingredients for baking and service.
• Ensure proper baking temperatures, timing, and techniques for a wide range of items.
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of workstations and equipment.
• Follow food safety and sanitation protocols and proper labeling of ingredients.
• Operate bakery equipment safely and effectively.
