Job summary

Blick Art Materials in Minneapolis is seeking an Assistant Manager to lead store operations and deliver exceptional customer service. You will oversee staff, manage daily workflows, and work with the General Manager to drive sales and maintain Blick's community presence.

The role requires retail management experience, strong communication, and a proven sales record. You will train associates, enforce standards, handle scheduling, and support custom services and product knowledge to help artists

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• College degree preferred but not required.
• One year of retail management experience or one year with Blick.
• Demonstrated superior sales performance throughout career.
• Computer literate, including Word and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Increase sales volume and uphold customer service standards.
• Develop and maintain customer relationships and partnerships.
• Train on and set experience standards in retail and framing.
• Provide customer service at the Custom Services desk.
• Assist the Custom Services production team as needed.
• Partner with the General Manager to build relationships with artists.
