Responsibilities

• Teach a part-time schedule of Art History courses as assigned.
• Utilize varied pedagogies and instructional formats including online/hybrid.
• Communicate effectively with students, faculty, and staff.
• Adhere to curriculum outlines and course objectives.
• Evaluate student progress with tests, assignments, and exams.
• Provide course syllabi and maintain classroom records.
• Turn in grading and evaluation reports timely.
• Work across multiple instructional settings and times as needed.
• Fulfill duties per Administrative Regulation 7122 and other responsibilities.

Education

Master’s in art history, history of art and architecture or visual culture/visual studies

Bachelor’s in art history and master’s in history

Master’s in art with a recorded emphasis or concentration in art history

A valid California Community College Credential; or equivalency

Equivalent education and/or experience (equivalency)
