Job summary

About the Job

We are seeking experienced Art Handlers/Truck Drivers to support the transportation and installation of custom fabrication and high-value items. This is an overhire, as-needed, W-2 position with weekly outreach to check availability. Ability to work overnight hours strongly preferred. This role requires professionalism, attention to detail, and the ability to safely handle delicate and valuable objects in both transit and installation environments.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate commercial vehicles in diverse weather and road conditions, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
• Participate in the preparation of items for transportation, ensuring proper packaging, securing, and handling to prevent damage.
• Prepare items for transport, including wrapping, packing, and condition checks.
• Complete scheduled pickups and deliveries accurately and on time.
• Maintain clear communication with dispatch regarding job status and any issues.
• Perform routine vehicle inspections and report any safety or maintenance concerns.
• Follow planned routes while adapting to traffic and site conditions as needed.
• Work collaboratively with team members during installations and logistics operations.

Requirements
