Job summary

A growing audiovisual company in New York City is seeking a skilled Driver/Loader & Gear Wrangler to manage deliveries and installations for live events. The ideal candidate has at least one year of driving experience, a clean driving record, and the ability to navigate NYC. Additionally, candidates should be dependable, friendly, and able to lift heavy items safely. This is a full-time position requiring flexibility in hours, often including evenings and weekends. Qualifications

About this job

We are seeking a skilled Driver/Loader & Gear Wrangler to join our team. We need an independent, motivated driver to manage our deliveries and pick-ups of equipment with our company van and box trucks for live events and audio/visual installations. Candidates with prior shop experience in the events/tech field are a perfect fit. This is a full time position with at least half the hours in the afternoons and evenings. Some weekend work is also required.

You’re an ideal candidate if you have at least one year of experience with:

• Driving large vehicles (a clean driving record and NYS driver’s license are required; CDL not essential)
• Packing trucks and operating lift gates
• Lifting heaving items (up to 75 lbs) safely
• Navigating NYC
• Working in the event production industry as stagehand or AV tech (preferred, but not required)
