Job summary

Hangman is seeking positive, hardworking art handlers and drivers in Los Angeles. The role includes packing and moving artworks, unloading from Hangman vehicles, and assisting with installations.

Candidates should be comfortable with gear like drills, levels, and tape measures, and be punctual, communicative, and able to work 830am–6pm on weekdays with occasional weekends. The job also involves operating a monthly SF shuttle (4–7 days, quarterly) and using electronic logging devices and Hangman

Qualifications

• 3+ years experience within Fine Art Services.
• Packing experience.
• Previous experience at an art services company, museum, or gallery.
• Ability to safely lift 40-50lbs individually.
• Ability to drive up to 26’ box truck (non CDL).
• Ability to work independently.
• Basic knowledge of mechanical functioning of diesel trucks.
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and electronic logging device usage a plus.
• Operating a monthly 5-7 day SF shuttle, once per quarter.

• Ability to perform basic vehicle maintenance as necessary (i.e. checking fluids, tires, identifying and managing vehicle issues as they arise)

• Knowledge of art, music and travel a plus
• Operating a monthly 5-7 day SF shuttle, once per quarter.
