Job summary

Michaels in Dartmouth, MA is hiring a Store Associate to help customers, maintain a well merchandised, in-stock store, and operate the cash register. You will follow SOPs, assist customers in finding framing supplies, and contribute to a safe, friendly shopping environment.

The role requires basic computer and measuring skills, ability to use framing equipment and a glass cutter, and weekend availability. Retail experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Basic computer skills and basic measuring skills.
• Ability to operate framing equipment and glass cutter.
• Retail experience and ability to sell products and services to customers.

Responsibilities

• Adhere to SOPs and Company programs to ensure compliance with laws and requirements; execute policies.
• Build relationships with customers while delivering custom framing solutions and sales targets.
• Complete framing orders with quality and on-time delivery.
• Maintain the ready-made frame department and other assigned areas (SISO and replenishment).
• Deliver friendly customer service and help customers shop; keep store well merchandised and in-stock.
• Support shrink and safety programs.
