Responsibilities

• Greets guests and completes established check-in procedures using manual and computerized methods.
• Facilitates guest departure (check-out) and closes guest accounts.
• Calculates and posts monies, receipts, and guest charges with accuracy.
• Answers inquiries and reservations, communicates rates, and uses upselling to increase occupancy and revenue.
• Keeps informed about in-house and local events to advise guests.
• Accepts calls, schedules wake-up calls, and pages guests for timely service.
• Manages cash transactions at the front desk and maintains the personal bank per policy.
• Keeps a friendly, helpful demeanor at all times.
• Uses standard office equipment including phone, copier, cash register, PC, fax, and PBX.
