Job summary

EP!C is looking for an ART COORDINATOR to oversee the EP!Casso Art Program, providing art instruction to individuals in Community Day Services, local high school students, and class participants. You will plan and execute art classes, manage supplies, track outcomes, inventory, and the sale of artwork, and monitor the program budget.

Responsibilities include teaching daily and weekly courses, assisting with grant proposals, representing the program at community events, ensuring HIPAA compliance,

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in art or human services preferred, but equivalent experience considered.
  • Experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.
  • Ability to lift 50 lbs. and perform regular walking/sitting.

Description

EP!C is looking for an ART COORDINATOR :

Oversees the EP!Casso Art Program providing art and business of art instruction to individuals enrolled in Community Day Services, local high school students, and others who attend classes at EP!C. Responsible for the planning and execution of art classes, managing supplies, tracking outcomes, inventory and sale of completed pieces, and monitoring of program budget.

Teaches daily and weekly courses in a variety of mediums, assists with the creation of grant proposals that help fund the program, attends community events to spread knowledge of the program and sell artwork, and works with the Senior Director of Community Day Services to ensure quality art offerings for participants in the program.

AS a mandated reporter, ensure all allegations of abuse and neglect are reported as required.

Ensure compliance with all HIPAA and confidentiality requirements.

Complete all mandatory documentation accurately, honestly, and on time.

To verify and ensure your payroll timecard is accurate by Monday before noon for the previous week worked.

Need to complete all required training within 120 days of initial employment and stay in compliance with all the required annual training refreshers.

Maintain weekly class schedule offering a variety art classes for individuals served.

Prepare curricula and teach classes that incorporate a variety of mediums and projects.

Assist with preparation of grant proposals and track grant outcomes.

Inventory completed pieces, list them on Square site, and fill orders when pieces are sold.

Complete quarterly artist commission payments by accurately tracking sales and working with Accounting department.

Maintain thorough records of class attendance, sales, community engagement, and other measures as needed.

Complete monthly report for Senior Director of Community Day Services.

Maintain an art studio that is well supplied, attractive, and that displays completed works for sale.

Attend community events to facilitate the selling of artists’ work.

Assist Development and Marketing Departments with initiatives that positively impact the broader agency.

Monitor monthly budget reports to ensure that program expenses are appropriate and adequate for planned projects.

Requirements

Must be at least 18 years of age.

Bachelor’s degree in art or human services field is preferred, but equivalent experience will be considered.

Possess a valid driver’s license and automobile insurance.

At least one year of experience working with individuals with disabilities is preferred.

Formal training in Art or professional experience in the Arts is preferred

Frequent walking and sitting

Regular reaching, grasping, and standing

Other physical activities related to an office environment

Ability to lift 50 lbs.
