Job summary

EP!C is seeking a Career Center Supervisor to lead disability employment services and foster inclusive career growth. You will mentor staff, coordinate training, and ensure quality coaching for individuals supported by the center.

Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED is required.
  • Experience in employing people with disabilities is required.
  • Coaching and training others experience is preferred.
  • Valid Driver’s License or State ID is required.

Responsibilities

  • Fulfill mandated reporter responsibilities and ensure allegations of abuse and neglect are reported appropriately and in accordance with applicable requirements.
  • Maintain compliance with HIPAA, confidentiality, and privacy requirements.
  • Instruct, train, assess, guide, support, and supervise individuals in assigned areas, including the Career Center and PAES Lab.
  • When necessary, assist individuals with personal needs, including transferring, toileting, eating, and grooming.
  • Provide individualized, one-to-one coaching to strengthen job skills and improve individuals’ ability to succeed in community employment.
  • Create natural learning opportunities that encourage individuals to be as independent as possible at work and during recreation, leisure, and educational activities.
  • Support individuals with varying levels of work experience and ability in developing job-search, job-development, and job-retention skills.
  • Maintain communication with the Community Employment Services Department regarding individual progress, challenges, and other relevant information.
  • Manage all responsibilities based on the agency’s mission, using individual choice, and all appropriate policies, procedures, and regulations.
  • Conduct oneself in a way that reflects the highest standards of professional courtesy and ethical practices to people served, staff, guardians, families, and all outside contacts

Education/Experience Requirements
