Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a self-checkout attendant to provide friendly, accurate service at our 24/7 retail locations. You will operate registers, assist at self-checkout stations, and process transactions with care for pricing accuracy.

Responsibilities include engaging customers, handling cash, and maintaining a clean, safe checkout area while supporting multiple transactions in a high-volume environment.

Qualifications

• Work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation; including night, weekends and holidays.
• Provide friendly, courteous customer service and engage with co-workers.
• Communicate effectively to perform customer relation tasks and handle transactions.
• Lift and move up to 50 lbs occasionally; stand or sit for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, engage and thank customers while maintaining a friendly service atmosphere.
• Operate check stand equipment and process customer orders accurately.
• Engage in suggestive selling and handle monetary transactions including cash and coupons.
• Maintain knowledge of product location and pricing; keep work area clean and safe.
