Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a self-checkout attendant to provide friendly, cooperative service at our retail locations. You will operate two-aisle check stands, multi-station self-checkout lanes, or the customer service desk as assigned, processing transactions accurately in a fast-paced environment.

Roles include assisting customers with scanning, payments, price checks, and maintaining a safe, clean work area. Must be 16+, available for varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Must be 16 years of age or older.
• Able to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation including night, weekends and holidays.
• Communicate to perform customer relations tasks and complete written forms.
• Lift and maneuver objects up to 50 lbs. occasionally and 20 lbs. frequently.

Responsibilities

• Welcome, engage and thank customers with friendly service.
• Operate check stands and self-checkout lanes to process transactions.
• Handle cash, checks, gift certificates, coupons and refunds according to policies.
• Maintain knowledge of product location, pricing and UPC codes.
• Keep check stands clean, stocked and safe for customers.
