Job summary

WinCo Foods is seeking a friendly team member to provide fast, accurate service at our check stands or customer service desks. You will process transactions, assist customers, and help maintain a clean, secure work area.

The role supports self-checkout and traditional lanes, requires lifting up to 50 lbs, standing long hours, and complying with store policies. A flexible schedule includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Qualifications

• Ability to work varied shifts in a 24/7 operation, including nights, weekends and holidays.
• Friendly, courteous, tactful relations with customers and co-workers.
• Ability to communicate clearly and perform tasks with basic math.
• Capable of lifting up to 50 lbs and standing for long periods.

Responsibilities

• Welcomes, engages, serves and thanks customers with a positive attitude.
• Operates check stands, cash registers, scanners and scales to process orders.
• Performs cash handling and returns with accuracy and adherence to policies.
• Maintains knowledge of product locations, pricing and UPC codes.
• Keeps check stands clean, stocked and safe; may assist at SCO lane or service desk.
• Follows all laws and company policies, including age restrictions and safety rules.
