Job summary

Ashton North LLC seeks an experienced Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join a patient-centered, community-based healthcare team in Washington. You will collaborate with physicians, ARNPs, PAs, and nurses within the Patient Centered Medical Home model to deliver comprehensive care across a diverse population.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited ARNP program.
• Current RN and ARNP licensure in the State of Washington.
• Prescriptive authority from Washington State.
• Experience practicing in a broad primary care clinic setting.
• Experience in minor surgical techniques preferred.
• Strong knowledge of the nursing process (assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation).

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced clinical assessments and manage illnesses within ARNP scope of practice.
• Collaborate with physicians, PAs, ARNPs, and nursing staff on patient care management.
• Develop and implement individualized teaching plans to support patients in achieving and maintaining optimal health.
• Use sound, independent clinical judgment in patient care decisions based on evidence.
• Maintain timely chart documentation (within 48-hour timeline, 95% of the time).
• Complete fee slips with matching diagnosis and procedure codes.
• Meet productivity expectations (minimum 3,400 encounters per year).
• Provide care coordination through daily huddles as part of the PCMH model.
• Identify at-risk patient populations and monitor panel-specific health.
• Empower patients through self-management education and discharge planning.
• Advocate for patients by explaining procedures and treatment plans.
• Participate in quality management, peer review, and practice development.
• Support clinical education of student nurse practitioners.
• Maintain annual training (HIPAA, Cultural Diversity, BBP, Sexual Harassment).
