Job summary

Nemean Solutions, LLC supports ArmyU IT operations at Fort Leavenworth, KS with system administration, desktop support, and classroom IT services across a multi-building campus.

The System Administrator will manage imaging, patching, and security updates, support user accounts, and ensure compliance with Army cybersecurity standards while delivering responsive service to staff, faculty, and students.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in IT, Computer Science, or related field or equivalent experience.
• 2-4 years of system administration or desktop support experience.
• DoD 8570.01-M IA Technical Level II certification (e.g., Security+).
• Familiarity with Windows OS, Active Directory, and imaging solutions.
• Understanding of Army IT compliance, RMF, and IA requirements preferred.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide Tier I/II system administration and user support for desktops, laptops, printers, and classroom IT systems across ArmyU networks.
• Perform imaging, patching, and security updates per Army IT standards.
• Support account management, ticket remediation, and troubleshooting for staff, faculty, and students via in-person, phone, email, and remote tools.
• Assist with hardware lifecycle tasks: staging, installation, recovery, and turn-in of end-user devices and peripherals.
• Validate classroom and conference room IT equipment functionality and remediate issues.
• Install, configure, and maintain software applications (e.g., Microsoft Office, Adobe Suite, Army-approved tools).
• Document support requests, ticket resolutions, and update SOPs/TTPs as directed.
• Generate weekly/monthly reporting on ticket activity, patching, and equipment validation.
• Adhere to Army cybersecurity, information assurance, and physical security requirements.
