Job summary

Applied Training Solutions, LLC is seeking a Material Coordinator to support armory operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, NM. You will maintain weapons/ ammunition records, process inventory, and coordinate requests for instructors and supervisors.

The role emphasizes accurate recordkeeping, safety compliance, and administrative support, with compensation including base $26.40/hr plus $5.09/hr health/welfare benefits under SCA, plus PTO and health

Qualifications

• Strong organizational and recordkeeping skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to identify discrepancies.
• Basic computer, email, and spreadsheet skills.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet daily deadlines.
• Effective written and verbal communication.
• Ability to follow established safety, security, inventory and documentation procedures.

Responsibilities

• Maintain weapons, ammunition, and inventory records.
• Process AIMS issues and returns and assist with resolving inventory discrepancies.
• Maintain Ammo Technician Logs, weapons technical inventory, and instructor sign-out records.
• Verify schedules and requests and prepare daily and weekly schedules and required forms.
• Support graduations and transfers by completing transfer logs, verifying serial numbers, and coordinating Security escorts.
• Process instructor requests and coordinate required signatures for issues, returns, and transfers.
• Answer phones and emails and maintain office records and documentation.
• Track supplies and maintain a clean, organized office.
• Communicate operational issues, discrepancies, and complaints to the Armory Supervisor.
• Provide general administrative and operational support as directed.
