Position: Maintenance Trades Helper Posted: 01/12/2026 Maintenance Trades Helper Artesia, NM Description: Applied Training Solutions, LLC (ATS) is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Maintenance Trades Helper to support operations at the Federal Law Enforcement Training Center (FLETC) in Artesia, New Mexico. The Maintenance Trades Helper plays a pivotal role in supporting skilled tradespeople and technicians to ensure the efficient operation, maintenance, and safety of facilities. This position requires a strong focus on routine maintenance, adherence to safety protocols, flexibility, independent work, and excellent customer service skills. Responsibilities: Perform routine maintenance tasks with a focus on cleaning, upkeep, and facility care. Adhere to all safety protocols and guidelines to maintain and ensure a secure work environment. Promptly identify and report safety hazards or concerns to supervisors. Conduct regular cleaning and disinfection of common areas and high-touch surfaces. Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections. Support maintenance and renovation projects, including material handling, work area setup, cleanup, and related tasks. Safely operate hand tools, power tools, and machinery under supervision as required. Adapt to evolving work demands by taking on new tasks and responsibilities as they arise. Demonstrate initiative, self-motivation, and problem-solving skills when performing duties independently.
