Job summary

Loomis is seeking an Armed Vault Custodian in Los Angeles to maintain inventory in our cash vaults and work with a team to ensure secure handling of deposits and shipments.

The role involves counting, sealing, loading/unloading cash shipments, and communicating with team members and customers. A strong focus on accuracy, safety, and adherence to procedures is essential for success in this position.

Qualifications

• Ability to load/unload currency, checks, and coins weighing ~50 lbs during shifts.
• Must be able to push carts weighing up to several hundred pounds.
• Able to stand on concrete floor ~80% of shift.
• Must have a valid firearms permit or pass state requirements.
• Excellent ability to read and sign receipts and records.

Responsibilities

• Check numbers on bags against receipts/manifests.
• Count items, record amounts, sign receipts.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bagged currency.
• Sort cargo items by route.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone.
