Job summary

Loomis- is seeking an Armed Vault Custodian to support vault operations for Loomis customers. You will work with a team to maintain inventory in cash vaults, ensure accurate logging, and follow security procedures.

The role requires a NY pistol permit or the ability to pass firearm requirements, plus the physical ability to lift and move heavy bags and coins across shifts. Training and development are provided on the job.

Qualifications

• Must have NY pistol permit or ability to pass firearms requirements.
• Ability to lift ~50 lbs repeatedly and perform frequent bending/standing.
• Excellent attention to accuracy when counting, logging, and reporting.

Responsibilities

• Check bags/receipts and compare against manifests or receipts.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign receipts/manifests.
• Load/unload bags and coins from wagons or carts.
• Sort cargo by route and route items accordingly.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone or in person.
