Job summary

Loomis is seeking an Armed Vault Custodian in Memphis, TN to maintain inventory in our cash vaults for Loomis customers. The role operates a 2:00 PM–11:00 PM shift, focusing on secure handling of deposits and change shipments.

Responsibilities include counting, recording, and signing receipts, loading and unloading currency, and communicating with team members and customers as needed. Strong physical stamina is required; firearms credentials may be needed.

Qualifications

• Ability to load/unload bags weighing approximately 50 lbs several times during shift.
• Ability to push/pull carts with heavy cargo.
• Ability to count, record numbers, and balance receipts and logs.
• Good communication with coworkers and customers.
• Physical stamina to stand and move in the vault environment.

Responsibilities

• Check bags and deposits against receipts or manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers; sign receipts.
• Load/unload bags and boxes of currency and coins.
• Sort cargo by route and prepare reports.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone or in person.
