Job summary

Loomis US is seeking a Vault Custodian to join our team in Baltimore. The role involves guarding and transporting cash assets, counting currency, recording numbers, and ensuring secure handling of deposits and changes shipments.

Responsibilities include loading and unloading bags, verifying receipts, and communicating with teammates and customers as part of daily vault operations. A valid firearms permit or ability to meet state requirements is required.

Qualifications

• Ability to lift and carry bags/boxes weighing up to 50 lbs multiple times per shift.
• Must read and record numbers accurately on receipts, manifests and reports.
• Ability to communicate with coworkers and customers by telephone or in person.

Responsibilities

• Check identifying numbers or seals on bags against receipts or manifests.
• Count items and record amounts; sign and date receipts and manifests.
• Load/unload wagons or carts with bags/coins and organize cargo by route.
