Job summary

Loomis- is seeking an Armed Vault Custodian to work with a team maintaining inventory in our cash vaults for Loomis customers. The role requires lifting heavy bags, loading/unloading cargo, and following strict security protocols.

Responsibilities include counting items, recording data, and communicating with colleagues and customers. A firearms permit or state requirements must be met, with a typical 40–50 hour week in a secure vault environment.

Qualifications

• Must be able to lift and carry bags/boxes weighing 50 lbs repeatedly.
• Ability to push/pull carts weighing several hundred pounds.
• Must stand/walk on concrete floors up to 80% of shift.
• Must read, write and record numbers accurately.
• Must have a valid firearms permit or pass applicable firearms requirements.

Responsibilities

• Check bag seals and deposits against receipts/manifests.
• Count items, record amounts and serial numbers, sign/date receipts.
• Load/unload wagons with bags/coins.
• Sort cargo by route.
• Communicate with coworkers and customers by phone.
