Job summary

Allied Universal is currently hiring an Armed Security Officer for a state site in Braintree, MA. The shift runs Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday and Saturday from 7 AM to 7 PM. The role involves patrolling designated areas on foot or by vehicle, monitoring for security concerns, and responding to incidents in a professional manner.

Starting pay is $23.79 per hour with paid orientation and training. A Concealed Carry Permit and 1+ year of security experience are required.

Qualifications

• Must have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Concealed Carry Permit may be required prior to employment.
• Background check and drug screen required by law and policy.
• Must be 21 years of age or older where required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Perform armed security patrols of designated areas on foot or in vehicle.
• Watch for irregular or unusual conditions that may create security concerns.
• Sound alarms or call police or fire department as needed.
• Warn violators of rule infractions and monitor entrances/exits.
• Observe departing personnel to prevent theft and ensure proper removal of property.
• Investigate incidents and prepare written reports as required.
