Job summary

Allied Universal is actively seeking a Full Time Security Officer for a state site in Boston, MA. You will patrol, monitor access, and deliver exceptional customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public.

Minimum requirements include 1+ year of security experience and a high school diploma or equivalent. The role offers a starting pay of $23.00 per hour, paid orientation, and paid training with a daytime schedule Tue–Sat 7 AM–3 PM.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year security-related experience.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Excellent customer service and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to visitors, employees, contractors, and the public at a government transportation location.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols of assigned areas and report maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access to restricted areas and verify visitor/contractor authorization.
• Respond calmly to incidents and emergencies and notify appropriate personnel.
