Qualifications

• CPR certification is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by federal, state and local laws.
• Drug screen required as a condition of employment.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to patients, visitors, staff, and/or vendors by following security procedures.
• Respond to incidents and medical emergencies in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random unarmed patrols throughout hospital buildings and perimeter locations.
• Monitor access points, assist with directions and escorts as assigned.
• Document patrols, incidents, and observations in site reporting procedures.
