Allied Universal is hiring a Security Officer – Part Time Enhanced in Buzzards Bay, MA. The role offers fixed anchor shifts with a six-month commitment and opportunities to pick up additional shifts to increase earnings.

You will provide security at a government military location, conduct armed patrols, monitor entry points, and respond to incidents. The position pays $23.00 per hour with part-time hours and potential to grow into a full schedule.

Qualifications

• Possess an Armed Guard Card or License.
• Have at least 6 months of armed security-related, law enforcement, or military experience.
• CPR and First Aid certification is preferred.
• A valid firearms permit is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and authorized guests at a government military location by carrying out security-related procedures and emergency response activities.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of assigned buildings, grounds, access points, and perimeter areas to help identify and report unusual activity, hazards, and policy violations.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for entry, maintaining awareness of restricted areas and reporting access concerns according to site procedures.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports of patrol activities, incidents, observations, and actions taken.
