Qualifications

• Possess a valid armed guard card or license; pepper spray cert preferred.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred; age 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent; background check and drug screen required.
• Licensing requirements may vary by state/local laws; valid driver's license for driving roles.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and/or employees by performing security-related procedures and emergency response as needed.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of transit facilities, platforms, and perimeters to deter incidents.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and report unauthorized access per site procedures.
• Prepare accurate incident reports and patrol logs for government transportation environments.
