Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer in JACKSONVILLE, FL. You will protect clients across commercial real estate sites, perform patrols, control access, and deliver excellent customer service while maintaining professional communication with tenants and management.

Qualifications

• At least 6 months of security-related experience required.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Background check and drug screening will be conducted as a condition of employment.
• License/guard card preferred; valid driver’s license only for driving positions.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, contractors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific procedures and access-control protocols.
• Conduct regular unarmed patrols of areas to identify and report security concerns and maintenance issues.
• Monitor access points and verify authorized access, reporting discrepancies to the right personnel.
• Respond to incidents calmly and document observations according to procedures.
• Maintain daily activity and incident reports and communicate with property management and emergency personnel.
