Allied Universal in Jacksonville, FL is seeking a Security Officer Full Time Armed Mobile Response Driver. This role involves patrolling utility facilities, monitoring access points, and responding to security incidents while delivering excellent customer service.

The position is full-time with daytime-evening shifts and a competitive hourly rate. The job requires armed security experience, a valid armed guard card/license, and a valid driver’s license.

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of armed security, law enforcement, or military experience.
• Valid armed guard card or license.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Customer service experience preferred.
• Access control and badge experience preferred.
• Must be 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and contractors at a utility location by following security procedures and site policies.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, parking areas, access points, buildings, and perimeter areas.
• Monitor access to restricted utility areas and report access concerns.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations with calm, clear communication.
• Prepare accurate activity reports, incident documentation, and shift communications.
