Job summary

Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Security Officer for a retail location in Houston, TX. You will conduct patrols, monitor entry points, deter incidents, and respond to alarms with professionalism and clear communication.

This full-time position requires a valid Texas Level III Armed Certification, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work daytime/evening shifts. Excellent customer service and teamwork are essential to protect people, property, and assets.

Qualifications

• Active Armed Guard Card/License required.
• Valid Driver's License.
• 3+ years combined law enforcement/corrections/military OR 5+ years armed security experience.
• Armed certification level III (Texas) required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to site personnel, shoppers, and visitors.
• Monitor access points, parking lots, and perimeter for unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances calmly and report as needed.
• Conduct armed patrols inside and around the retail location.
• Document observations and actions per procedures.
