Job summary

Allied Universal® is seeking a Security Guard Armed Patrol Driver with Military Experience for a part-time position in Houston, TX. The role involves armed patrols, customer service, and adhering to site policies while maintaining a visible security presence.

Qualifications

• At least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, or military experience, or at least 5 years of armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Subject to a background investigation in accordance with laws.
• Qualified applicants with criminal histories will be considered as allowed by law.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and store personnel by carrying out armed security-related procedures and site policies.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail areas, parking lots, and perimeters to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe activity, reporting concerns to site leadership or law enforcement as appropriate.
• Complete incident reports and logs accurately and in a timely manner.
