Allied Universal is hiring an Armed Mobile Patrol Driver in Brownsville, TX. The role involves protecting clients across Retail/Malls, performing regular armed patrols, and providing exceptional customer service while adhering to site policies.

Applicants must hold a valid Texas driver’s license, a Level III Armed Certification, be at least 21, and pass a background check and drug screen. This is a full-time position with a pay rate of $14.00 per hour.

As an Armed Security Officer in a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Full TimePay Rate: $14.00 / Hour

Job Schedule

Fri 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Sat 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM, Sun 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM.

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, customers, and employees while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, following site protocols and notifying appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations, to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points and observe customer and employee activity for unusual conditions, reporting security-related concerns according to site procedures.
• Maintain required reports and documentation, and carry authorized equipment in accordance with applicable laws, training, and Allied Universal and site policies.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas only.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
