Allied Universal in San Antonio, TX is seeking an armed Security Officer Driver Patrol Operations to protect clients across Retail/Malls and other sites. This full-time driving post requires a valid driver's license and Texas Level III Armed Certification.

The role involves routine armed patrols, customer service to store personnel and visitors, and reporting incidents with clear, calm communication. You will work a daytime schedule with rotating shifts at a retail location.

Qualifications

• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• A high school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to store personnel, shoppers, and visitors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities as appropriate.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the retail location, including sales areas, entrances, receiving areas, parking lots, and perimeter locations.
• Monitor for suspicious activity, potential theft, disturbances, and other security-related concerns; report observations and respond in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical situations, and critical events in accordance with site procedures, utilizing required equipment and contacting appropriate personnel and/or emergency services when needed.
• Prepare clear, accurate reports and maintain professional communication with site management, law enforcement, and Allied Universal leadership.

As a Security Officer Armed Driver Patrol Operations in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more. As an Armed Security Officer at a retail location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and support a welcoming environment for customers and team members. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You’ll Do:

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
