Responsibilities

• Conduct regular armed patrols in retail areas, entrances, parking lots, and surrounding perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Complete incident reports and daily logs maintaining professional presence.

This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.00 / Hour

• 21+ Years of Age
• Active Armed Guard Card/License

• 3+ Years' Combined Law Enforcement/Corrections/Military OR 5+ Years Armed Security Experience

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM
• Sat: 11:00 PM - 07:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and employees by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and emergency response activities when appropriate.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, including coordinating with store leadership and emergency responders as needed.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout retail sales areas, entrances, parking lots, loading areas, and the surrounding perimeter to help deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access points, observe customer and employee activity, and report suspicious behavior, hazards, and policy violations according to site procedures.
• Complete accurate incident reports, daily activity logs, and other required documentation while maintaining a professional presence at the location.

Minimum Requirements:

• Have at least 3 years of combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience or at least 5 years of armed security-related experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
