Job summary

Allied Universal in Houston is seeking an Armed Security Officer for N. Shepard Dr. You will patrol retail locations, deter security incidents, and maintain a visible presence while delivering excellent customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff.

This full-time role requires 21+ with Texas Level III Armed Certification, 3+ years security or 5+ years armed experience, a valid driver’s license, and pass background checks and drug screening. Competitive pay plus benefits.

Qualifications

• 3+ years combined law enforcement/corrections/military or 5+ years armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required per policy.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas is required.
• Must be 21+ years old for armed roles.
• Background check and drug screen required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers and staff following site procedures.
• Respond calmly to incidents and escalations per site rules.
• Conduct regular armed patrols throughout the retail location and perimeters.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activities.
• Complete patrol and incident reports as required by policy.
