Qualifications

• 3 years combined law enforcement, corrections, and/or military experience, or 5+ years armed security experience.
• A valid driver’s license is required.
• Level III Armed Certification in Texas.
• 21 years of age or older for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check as a condition of employment.
• Drug screen as permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to clients, shoppers, and staff while following site procedures.
• Respond to incidents calmly and escalate as needed per site policy.
• Conduct regular armed patrols of the retail location across areas including parking and perimeter.
• Monitor access points and report suspicious activity and policy violations.
• Complete reports on patrols and incidents per Allied Universal and site requirements.
