Allied Universal® is seeking a Part-Time Security Officer (Armed) in Boynton Beach, FL to safeguard residents and guests at a commercial real estate community. You will manage access control, patrol premises, and provide professional customer service while maintaining a visible presence throughout shifts.

The role requires compliance with licensing, safety, and reporting procedures, with a schedule that supports daily coverage and a pay rate of $27.50 per hour.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military or a criminal justice degree.
• Armed guard card or license required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• Comfortable using a computer or tablet.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check required by law.
• Drug screening as permitted by law.
• State/local licensing may be required.
• Driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors while enforcing access-control procedures.
• Monitor entry points and verify authorized access credentials.
• Respond to alarms and incidents calmly and coordinate with emergency responders.
• Conduct regular patrols of entrances, parking areas and perimeters.
• Prepare reports and communicate observations to leadership.
