Job summary

Allied Universal in Boynton Beach, FL is seeking an armed Residential Gateway Security Officer for a part-time role. You will manage access control, monitor entry points, conduct patrols, and deliver professional customer service to residents, guests, and vendors at a commercial real estate community.

Qualifications

• At least 2 years of law enforcement, corrections, military or degree in criminal justice.
• Armed guard card or license.
• CPR certification preferred.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Background check and drug screen required.
• Valid driver’s license for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, guests, vendors, and visitors by carrying out site-specific access-control procedures and policies.
• Monitor vehicle and pedestrian entry points and verify access credentials; log visitors and contractors.
• Respond to access-related incidents, alarms, and emergencies calmly and report to leadership.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of entrances, parking areas, common areas, and perimeter; report unusual activity.
• Prepare accurate reports and communicate observations and concerns to leadership.
