Job summary

Allied Universal is seeking an Armed Part Time Security Officer at Boynton Beach, FL. You will monitor entry points, verify access, and provide exceptional customer service to residents and visitors while maintaining a safe environment.

This role offers a part-time schedule with pay rate of $25.00 per hour, opportunities for training and career growth, and access to our shift-claim platform to customize your hours. A valid guard card/license and background check are required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years of corrections, law enforcement, military, or criminal justice degree.
• Armed guard card or license is required.
• CPR certification preferred.
• A background check will be conducted in line with laws.
• Must be 21+ for armed roles.
• Ability to use a computer or tablet.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, vendors, and clients by carrying out access control procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Monitor entry and exit points, verify authorized access, maintain visitor and vendor records, and report unauthorized access attempts or unusual activity.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, communicating with appropriate personnel and emergency services as needed.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of community entrances, common areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Complete accurate daily activity reports, incident documentation, and access-control logs in accordance with Allied Universal and site-specific requirements.
