Allied Universal in San Antonio, TX is seeking an Armed Security Officer for the Headquarters Vehicle Patrol. This part-time role covers providing armed security, patrolling facilities and utilities sites, and delivering professional customer service while maintaining a visible presence.

You will operate under Texas Level III Armed Certification requirements, drive as needed, document incidents, respond to alarms, and coordinate with site contacts.

Qualifications

As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will conduct routine vehicle and foot patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, respond to security-related concerns, and provide exceptional customer service. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Texas Level III Armed Certification. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $19.74 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Fri: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM
• Sat: 02:00 PM - 10:00 PM

What You’ll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, contractors, and members of the public while carrying out site-specific procedures and emergency response activities at a utilities location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facility buildings, water infrastructure, access points, parking areas, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
• Monitor access to restricted areas, verify credentials as required, and document visitor, contractor, and vehicle activity in accordance with site-specific policies.
• Respond to alarms, incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, coordinating with appropriate site contacts and emergency responders as needed.
• Prepare accurate reports and maintain required records regarding patrols, incidents, access-control activities, and observed conditions.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Level III Armed Security License is required in Texas.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
