Job Description

As a Armed Security Officer - Mobile Patrol in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Utilities, and more. As an Armed Security Officer supporting a utilities location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond professionally to site needs. This driving post requires a valid driver’s license and Level III Armed Certification. What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and utility customers by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, access-control requirements, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, suspicious activity, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner; notify appropriate personnel and document observations according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of utility facilities, offices, parking areas, perimeter fencing, gates, and restricted areas to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential hazards or maintenance concerns.
• Monitor access points and verify authorization for personnel, visitors, vendors, and contractors entering restricted utility operations areas, following established site procedures.
• Maintain accurate daily activity reports, incident reports, and patrol logs, and communicate relevant information to Allied Universal leadership and site contacts.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Possess a Level III Armed Guard Card in Texas
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
