As an Armed Security Officer supporting a dynamic aerospace and defense location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter incidents, and respond to security-related concerns with professionalism. Position Type: Part Time

Pay Rate: $22.13 / Hour

Job Schedule:

• Mon 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM
• Fri 10:00 PM - 06:00 AM

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to personnel, visitors, and/or contractors while carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at an aerospace and defense location.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of facilities, controlled areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions.
• Monitor access points, verify credentials, and document visitor, vehicle, and/or contractor activity in accordance with site requirements.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established escalation and reporting procedures.
• Carry assigned equipment in accordance with Allied Universal policies, applicable laws, and client site requirements.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• A Guard Card or license is preferred.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
