Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking a part-time FAA Level III Armed Security Officer to safeguard FAA facilities and assets. The role emphasizes access control, screening, enforcement of post orders, and incident reporting across shifts.

Qualified candidates will perform roving patrols, monitor surveillance, process visitors, and respond to emergencies with mature judgment. A U.S. citizen, high school diploma or GED, and security credentials are required.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand and walk for long periods, indoors or outdoors.
• Ability to read and write English reports and post orders.
• Must communicate clearly with team and visitors and exercise good judgment.

Responsibilities

• Access control: manage entry for personnel and vehicles.
• Screen visitors, vehicles, and items with screening equipment as required.
• Enforce facility rules and issue badges per post orders.
• Conduct roving patrols and respond to incidents and alarms.
• Monitor and analyze activity with surveillance equipment and post orders.
