Job summary

Colonial Group is seeking an FAA Level III Armed Security Officer to provide physical security at an FAA facility in Colorado. You will safeguard government property, employees, and assets while enforcing Facility Post Orders.

The part-time role requires vigilance, fitness, and the ability to respond to alarms, perform access control, screening, patrols, and incident reporting with accuracy.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 21 years old.
• Must be a U.S. citizen.
• Minimum education: High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum security experience requirements as listed in FAA guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Access control – manage entries and deny entry to unauthorized persons or vehicles.
• Screen visitors, vehicles, mail/parcels, and hand-carried items using standard procedures.
• Enforce Facility Rules and Regulations as described in post orders.
• Issue visitor badges and temporary passes per post orders.
• Conduct roving patrols of buildings, grounds, and perimeter.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, trespassing, and suspicious activity.
• Respond to security alarms and emergency situations on site.
• Monitor CCTV and surveillance equipment to analyze activity.
• Perform building and vehicle inspections as defined in post orders.
• Direct traffic, parking, and pedestrian movement per site directions.
