Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc., an Allied Universal Company, is seeking an Armed Facility Guard to maintain a safe and secure environment in Tucson. The role focuses on access control, credential verification, and monitoring entry and exit points while providing courteous customer service.

Responsibilities include routine patrols, responding to emergencies, enforcing policies, and maintaining security awareness.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required.
• U.S. citizen or lawful permanent resident status required.
• Must have or be able to obtain any applicable licensing and/or driver’s license.
• Background check and drug screen required by policy.
• Minimum two years of driving experience.
• Experience in law enforcement, military police, or security preferred.
• Effective communication and report-writing abilities.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to facilities and authorized areas.
• Verify employee, contractor, and visitor credentials.
• Monitor entry and exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Manage visitor access per procedures and customer requirements.
• Maintain visible security presence to deter incidents.
• Conduct patrols and report suspicious activity.
• Respond to emergencies and incidents following procedures.
• Enforce facility rules and security requirements.
• Report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Provide customer service while maintaining security and sound judgment.
• Complete logs and reports accurately and timely.
