Allied Universal, a leading security and facility services company, is seeking a part‑time Armed Security Officer – Site Protection in Tucson, AZ. The role offers reliable fixed shifts with optional extra shifts via our scheduling platform, helping you earn more while you gain hands‑on experience.

You will provide customer service to residents, staff, and contractors, perform armed patrols, monitor access, and report incidents at a government veterans services location.

Qualifications

• Armed Guard Card or License required.
• CPR and First Aid certification preferred.
• Guard Card or License preferred.
• Experience with handcuffs, pepper spray, and batons preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Subject to background investigation per laws.
• Drug screen required where permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements may be required prior to employment.
• Driver’s license required for driving positions only.

Responsibilities

• Provide customer service to residents, visitors, staff, and contractors by carrying out security-related procedures at a government veterans services location.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, medical emergencies, and critical situations calmly and following protocols, notifying appropriate personnel or emergency services.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of buildings, grounds, parking areas, access points, and perimeter to deter unauthorized activity.
• Monitor access to the location, verify authorized entry, assist with visitor management and traffic control.
• Prepare reports and maintain documentation regarding incidents, patrols, and security observations.
