Job summary

G4S Secure Solutions (USA) Inc. is hiring a Facility Guard - Armed to help maintain a safe, secure environment through access control, credential verification, and surveillance at San Diego facilities. You will deter unauthorized access while delivering professional customer service.

Responsibilities include patrolling, responding to emergencies, logging activity, enforcing rules, and maintaining a visible security presence. Candidates should have a High School Diploma/GED, U.S.

Qualifications

• Must be a United States citizen or legal permanent resident.
• Must meet licensing or certification requirements and hold a valid driver's license if applicable.
• Background check and drug test required by law.
• Minimum two years of driving experience and related security background.
• Experience in law enforcement, military police, or security operations is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Control and monitor access to facilities and authorized areas.
• Verify credentials for employees, contractors, and visitors.
• Monitor entry/exit points to prevent unauthorized access.
• Manage visitor access per procedures and customer requirements.
• Maintain a visible security presence to deter violations.
• Conduct routine patrols and report unusual activities.
• Respond to emergencies and security incidents per procedures.
• Enforce facility rules and safety requirements.
• Report safety or security concerns promptly.
• Provide professional customer service while maintaining security.
• Complete logs and reports accurately and timely.
